Primary School Initiatives
After School Club
4, 5 or 6 weeks of coached sessions within Primary schools for year 1, 2, 3 & 4 pupils. This is delivered as an after school club which parents sign up via Harrogate Hockey Clubs payment system. The Hockey Club will provide all equipment and organise all paperwork to run the sessions in a safe environment. The cost to the participants is £5 per session.
Primary schools that have enjoyed clubs so far are Pannal, Oatlands Junior School, All Saints KO, North Rigton, Richard Taylor, Hampswaite, Rossett, Meadowside, St Robert’s & St Peter’s, St Mary's
Year 3 & 4 Primary Tournament
Summer Primary Hockey Tournament 2024– Tuesday 21st May 2024, 1:30pm – 4:30pm
HHC organised a fun, friendly, inter-school hockey tournament. This was open to all primary schools for year 3 & 4 pupils. The tournament was a 4 a side and each school entered up to 2 teams. The tournament cost £30 per team to help with the running costs of the tournament.
We were unable to deliver a Tournament in 2025, but are hoping for the event to return in 2026.
