Harrogate Hockey Club is managed and run by volunteers, and what we do would not be possible without the support and encouragement of our wonderful Sponsors. We are enormously grateful to them for their generosity and commitment.
Harrogate Hockey Club was founded in 1913 and is (we think!) one of the finest Hockey Clubs in the country. We are a vibrant, thriving, family-friendly club in the heart of the Harrogate community and we believe everyone should have the opportunity to play our sport, from absolute beginners through to some at the very top level. The club has seven senior men’s teams, five senior ladies’ teams and men’s and ladies’ veterans’ teams who play across the North of England every week. There is also a thriving junior section with more than 350 talented youngsters aged between 6 and 16. We are the third largest hockey club in Yorkshire and the 28th largest in England.
We have recently developed the Club’s offering to ensure that there is something for everyone, but we are ambitious and want to do even more. We are keen to:
Be your local club where you and your children can come and play and enjoy the game we all love.
Provide opportunities for more people (young and less young) across the local community to get active, learn skills and develop themselves through hockey.
Continue to develop home-grown players who have come through our junior ranks to play senior hockey and help them to reach their full potential.
Achieve even greater success on the pitch.
Become one of the largest and strongest clubs in the North of England and a sports club Harrogate can be even more proud of!
Develop our coaching resource to provide the best possible hockey coaching to all our teams and players.
Accelerate the growth of the Club’s profile across the local community.
How Can You Help?
We are looking to partner with businesses who care about the local community and share our values and a passion for helping to provide good sport for as many people as possible. We have a variety of different opportunities for sponsors, including:
Kit Sponsorship - this is a great chance to have your company logo on more than 200 playing shirts, helping to promote your company locally and across the North of England.
Facility Sponsorship - sponsor any of our ground, goals, changing rooms, dugout or scoreboard. A great opportunity to get your brand and message out to a local audience who come to support friends and family throughout the hockey season.
Sponsor one of our hockey activities - we provide many events and programmes throughout the season to encourage people to play hockey. These events are promoted widely across the region and throughout the hockey community nationally. These include: National Sevens’ Festival (August), Crawfurd-Porter International Veterans Tournament (May), Summer Social Hockey (for those who just don’t want a rest), Back to Hockey (for former players who want to get fit again), Kids’ Hockey Camps in the school hols and our Junior Performance Hockey Programme.
Team Sponsorship – Link up with one of our senior Men’s or Ladies’ XIs or one of our Junior sides – or sponsor a team coach (they need to be loved as well!) - and see your logo carried round the North of England each week.
Bespoke Packages – We are very keen to make sure that our sponsors feel that they are getting value for money and the kind of coverage they want, and we can tailor a package to meet your specific requirements.
For more information on how you and your business can become involved please contact any of our Sponsorship Committee at the Club on 01423 565696 or email@example.com. Please ask to be put in touch with Martin Young, Josh Lyon, Nick Hudson, Jeremy Henderson, James Edmondson, Simon Lockwood or Ian Loseby – they will be pleased to help you.
You don’t need to spend a colossal amount of money – our packages start from as little as £500 + VAT. So call one of the guys today and get on board – you won’t regret it!
