On Sunday 30th April Harrogate U10 boys represented Yorkshire in the North of England hockey finals.

hey went through as the number one team in Yorkshire with Sheffield as number two. Harrogate played three teams in there pool, Timpley, Preston and Stokesley winning every game and not conceding any goals. They went through to the semi finals where they played Sheffield. All the boys played extremely well with Harry Montague scoring the winning goal to end the match 1-0.

Harrogate then met Timpley again in the final where, having played 4 games of hockey both teams found it a tough game and the match to ended in a 0-0 draw. This lead to the decider of the match being the best of three penalty flicks.

Henry Straker had a fantastic game saving two flicks from Timpley and Aaron Brompton and Harry Montague scored fantastic goals clenching the tittle of the best team in the North of England.
