Ladies First XI Hockey
Our thriving Mens section provides opportunity to play Hockey at all standards. Five teams play in the northern Leagues, spread from North East division 2 East to the Yorkshire 7th division.
The mens section, is proud to play at one of the best hockey facilities in the North of England.
The club has always advocated an attractive hockey style played in a good spirit of sportsmanship. We hope we succeed in this aim and have a good time trying!
Our Mens first team led by Gary Nash, play in the Yorkshire premier division and aspire to move through the northern league structures to re-establish our position as one of Yorkshires highest ranked clubs.
Training is every Tuesday evening for 1sts & 2nds and on Thursdays from 7pm for lower teams.
The second team led by Joe Lyon play in Yorkshire Division One and Mike Smith leads our third team in Yorkshire Division Five as does Chris French who runs our fourth team in the same league. Our fifth team, under Richard Blunden aim to provide opportunity for younger aspiring players to play league hockey assisted by a few older hands in Division 7.
We also run a Mens Veterans team, who won the 2010 Yorkshire Cup. The Veterans also host our own Crawfurd Porter tournament at the end of the season.
