Ladies Forth XI Hockey
Ladies 4th Team squad hold their position in Yorkshire Division 2 for a 2nd season.
Playing 08/09 in a higher Division was challenging with some close scoring matches. We established a new playing formation mid season and saw the sparkling development of the Junior players and the wisdom of the experienced players held the team spirit and ethos together to the end of the season. Real achievement came when we beat our rivals Old Johns.
Team spirit, committment and lots of love for the game (as well as the social side) are the key ingredients to a successful 4th Team season. We welcome and encourage any players to join us on the pitch or just a pint at the bar!
We have a lot to prove this season with the realistic aim to finish mid table, score more goals and play a game of hockey that is entertaining to watch.
