Ladies First XI Hockey

The Junior section of Harrogate Hockey club has over 200 plus members with ages from 6 - 16. Many of our juniors go on to play senior hockey and both men's and ladies current first team squads have players who have come up through the ranks.

The Club has a CLUBS 1st Accreditation by England Hockey thus showing that we provide a safe and well-organised environment for our young players to learn the game of hockey.

We cater for all abilities, from those who come to play the game for the first time to those who represent the club at County, Regional and National level.

Our coaching team offer a wealth of experience and knowledge and many play regularly for the club on a weekly basis.

We are also very lucky to have a number of committed parents who help further by managing our junior teams when they play in the Yorkshire Youth Leagues on Sunday mornings.

Besides the playing side, we also cater for those who wish to learn to umpire.  We do this through England Hockey who allow us to run Foundation Umpire Courses at the club for younger members. There are also coaching courses available for the over 16s these can also be arranged through England Hockey.

Harrogate Hockey Club aims to be a friendly welcoming Club where young people can not only improve their sporting capabilities but also make many friends and enjoy being part of a vibrant Club.
